Dawoodi Bohras Partner with ICNA Relief to Support Families in Atlanta

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many people in the Atlanta area with underlying health conditions to remain at home, making it difficult for them to obtain groceries and provide their families with hot meals.

Volunteers from the Dawoodi Bohra community of Atlanta partnered with ICNA Relief to provide hot, nourishing meals to those residents of Moore’s Mill Village apartments who need additional support.

ICNA Relief is a nationwide network of shelters, food pantries, health clinics, skill development programs, disaster relief services, and refugee services to uplift vulnerable people throughout the United States.

The Bohras contribution was made as part of Project Rise, a global Dawoodi Bohra initiative to support vulnerable people and conserve, enhance and clear up the natural environment, while raising awareness of the need for sustainable development.
