We are the Dawoodi Bohra community of Orange County and Inland Empire. Our community comprises nearly 572 members, made up of students, professionals, and families, who proudly call this beautiful Southern California region, home.
Where We Are
From the sunlit classrooms of Orange County to the innovative sectors of the Inland Empire, our community is proud to be part of a city celebrated for its educational institutions, cultural diversity, and opportunities for growth.
We regularly gather at our masjid in Ontario for educational seminars and family-friendly workshops. Beyond our masjid walls, we participate in local initiatives that promote learning, such as public library drives, mentorship programs, and youth science fairs.

Where We Are
Our Story
The Dawoodi Bohras of Southern California have a long legacy of valuing education. Since the 1950s, when the first families arrived here from India, Pakistan, and East Africa, the pursuit of knowledge has been central to our community’s identity.
Today, our community spans three generations of learners. Whether it’s a kindergartener reciting the alphabet, a young adult acing their college exams, or a senior completing Quranic memorization, we believe that learning never stops.

Our Community
We are doctors and engineers, teachers and technologists, artists and entrepreneurs—but above all, we are students at heart.
Our youth attend some of the best schools and universities in the state, such as UC Irvine, UCLA, and USC. Others pursue advanced religious and cultural studies at Aljamea-tus-Saifiyah, our premier Arabic academy.
Our masjid hosts programs for all ages, including Quranic memorization classes, STEM workshops, creative writing contests, and even robotics camps. These activities inspire our members to innovate, collaborate, and excel in their chosen fields.
