The Dawoodi Bohra community in San Francisco has a history that traces back to the mid-20th century, with early members arriving in pursuit of higher education at prestigious institutions such as Stanford University and UC Berkeley. Over the decades, the area’s thriving economy, particularly in the technology sector of Silicon Valley, attracted more families.

Our masjid is located in the Niles Canyon, a well-known, picturesque part of the Bay Area that is known for its Oak trees, the Alameda Creek, older architecture and homes, and a historic railroad. It is also walking distance from the Niles District, which has a rich regional history. It serves as a space for prayers, cultural and social gatherings, and celebrations.
