We are the Dawoodi Bohras of Dallas and Fort Worth in Texas. Our place of worship, or Masjid, is in Irving, Texas. Our story began in 1975 when two families moved to the area and founded the congregation. Since then, our community has grown to over 200 families strong.

The Dawoodi Bohras of Dallas – Ft. Worth aim to be a positive part of society while following the guidance of our Spiritual Leader, His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin. Addressing hunger is one of our most passionate causes. At the direction of our Spiritual Leader, we have made great progress on this initiative and continue to partner with local organizations, like Irving Schools Foundation, Bear Creek Community Church, and Helping Around Town Ministry, in an attempt to end hunger.

We are also proud to partner with Keep Irving Beautiful in the effort to keep our public spaces free of litter and prevent plastic waste from entering our valuable waterways like the Trinity River.

Our community includes Dawoodi Bohras from India, Pakistan, Africa, and Europe. We come from diverse professional backgrounds that include small business owners, medical professionals, and teachers. Bound by our love for peace and unity, we strive to help our region of North Texas in any way we can.
