It has been a busy summer for the Dawoodi Bohras of Dallas – Ft. Worth.
The City of Irving was excited to host the fireworks extravaganza “Bring Back the Spark” on Independence Day this past July 4th, 2021. The Dawoodi Bohras of Dallas – Ft. Worth were proud to sponsor the Children’s Area of this event under their global Project Rise initiative.
“We are very grateful for this opportunity to join the City of Irving in celebrating Independence Day this year,” said Fatema Biviji, PR Coordinator for the local Dallas community.
The Children’s Area offered free face painting and crafts to the children attending. The event took place at the newly opened Levy Event plaza and was a grand success with up to 10,000 people in attendance.
The Dawoodi Bohras of Dallas – Ft. Worth were also proud to be one of the Bronze sponsors of Irving Schools Foundation’s Supplies for Success event that took place on August 7, 2021. This drive provided school supplies for thousands of Irving ISD students.
“We had a great Supplies for Success event on Saturday. We would like to thank all of our sponsors for their generosity and outstanding support to the students of Irving ISD.
