The Dawoodi Bohra community in New York co-hosted a webinar with the Nassau County’s Office of Asian American Affairs. During the webinar, Farrah Mozzawalla, Executive Director of the Office of Asian American Affairs, discussed the importance of completing the 2020 Census and registering to vote in the upcoming elections.
“The Census can be an important way of advocating for your community and to make your voice heard,” she said. Mozzawalla also discussed voter registration and the different ways that community members could vote, including voting in person or via an absentee ballot.
Providing insight into the Office of Asian American Affairs and its various services, Mozzawalla shared information about how her office could partner with and support the Dawoodi Bohra community in New York.
