The Dawoodi Bohra communities in Washington D.C. and Minneapolis engaged in charity initiatives during the holy month of Ramadan.

Anjuman-e-Ezzi Washington D.C. organized its first ever food/clothes/toys drive to help those less fortunate in society. Donations throughout Ramadan, resulting in more than a dozen boxes, were donated to a local interfaith community shelter located in the same county as Najmi Masjid. Members participated with great enthusiasm and helped make the first food/clothes drive a successful one.

The Bohra community in Minneapolis joined hands with a local non-profit organisation to pack around 79 boxes of food donations for the hungry.

In the spirit of Ramadan, Dawoodi Bohras around the world engage in various charity initiatives as a matter of social responsibility inspired by the teachings of Islam.
