Virginia Boy Scout of America Member Builds Benches For Community on World Youth Skills Day

Sibtain Hussain Quettawala is a young Scout of Boy Scouts of America (BSA) Virginia – Troop 20, who showcased his talents and community spirit on World Youth Skills Day by building benches for the Dawoodi Bohra community center in Chantilly.

With great attention to detail, Sibtain inspects the finished benches while waiting for the varnish to dry.

A skilled craftsman and carpenter, Sibtain generously devoted his time, effort, and resources to build six outdoor wooden benches for the community as part of his Scout Troop initiative.  From planning, purchasing, and execution, the project was led and managed by him with the help of his eager fellow scouts, under the guidance of his Scout Master.
